Hi JQ.... They are correct, the problem is your ZC config... FOR EXAMPLE

    Click this link http://www.johnspetsupplies.com/inde...ain_page=login

    No problems at all

But navigate there from your main page links (edited I think) and thus you have the problem as you are not letting ZC do the switch properly.

You make a valid point but I also did a fresh install of ZC into a sub-folder on my site and still had that problem right out of the box. No editing and no mods.

I dunno I tell ya, I just dunno.

None the less... Its your ZC config issue.

Its probably something very small =-) making big problems.

The problems you are having are common and should be expected, when using a Shared SSL Cert.

To resolve the issue you would need to get a Dedicated SSL which means you need a Dedicated IP address as well.

Does your host use a dual directory system? I.e. an http and an https folder for SSL? If so, you need copies of everything in the HTTPS directory.

Your other option is to get your own secure certificate instead of using the shared one - you can get them cheap and eliminate a lot of hassles.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

No they use the same server.
I appreciate the fact that getting a private SSL would solve the issue and I would have bought one by now. But it's just not an option right now. I recently became disabled and can not work and that is why I am trying to have a go at selling things on this web site. But I do appreciate your ideas and thoughtfulness.

PM me I think I can help you with that. Your cPanel has the SSL/TLS icon?

That didn't solve the issue. That link takes you to http://www.johnspetsupplies.com where it needs to take you to httpS://saab.websitewelcome.com/~joh...ain_page=login

yea because HostGator, in their infinate wisdom changed my entire site to https://saab.websitewelcome.com/~johnspet
so the entire website is now secure, but the URL is the saab URL, which sucks canal water. Anyway, I just purchased their business plan for $14.95 per month which gives me a dedicated ip and a private SSL.

That's always the answer, "just spend more money and you'll be fine."

I don't have the time nor the inclination to mess with this anymore.

    Case closed!
