tell a friend off still accessed

we have tell a friend turned off everywhere we can find

email options > Allow Guest To Tell A Friend

the tell a friend links are not available on any of the pages but anyone who knows how to adjust the url can gain access to the tell a friend form page and still use it

How can this be prevented?

Hi,

The quickest way to completely disable tell-a-friend is to use a FTP program to go to /includes/modules/pages/ on your website and rename the tell_a_friend directory to something else. That will make it impossible to use.

I had been looking at that but was afraid to do it and mess things up.
