is there way to make group pricing automatic after paying?

hello there... i have created a subscription payment using paypal for group pricing discounts. it works good but i have to turn on manually in customers/admin to assign the customers for group discount. but this is not good when the admin is not always online so, some customers complain when they paid for a subscription to paypal and can not avail the discounts right after signing up for a subscription. is there way to make group picing automatic after paying for a paypal subscription? PLSS... HELP!!! i really need this. thanks

I did the same, I have a VIP membership discount, but in my case I explain once they purchase the membership from my store, they will receive a welcome package notifying them on how to enjoy their new benefits ( since many in my other store complained they don't "see" the discounts in the product page until the end. The cart dropout is quite significant!), that gives me time to add the membership group to their account, and clients feel more appreciated this way. Is still not automatic, and I don't want it to be, I rather want to email a welcome package otherwise what's the point on having a membership if as a client I don't feel or be treated "differently"?
