help question Using eBook Gold for secure downloads

Let me first hasten to say I'm not associated with eBook Gold in any way. This is not an ad!
I have been using eBook Gold to sell downloads, in conjunction with with Paypal-generated buttons, and now I am upgrading to a proper shopping cart - Zen Cart.
In the Zen Cart manual I've just reached the part that explains we have to prepare our downloadable files as .jpg, .gif, .pdf, etc, and this worries me because those formats can be easily duplicated and 'shared' with others. My downloads can be ripped off, in other words.
So I want to continue using eBook Gold's encryption with Zen Cart but I need help working out how to do it.
Has anyone here used eBook Gold with Zen Cart?

Um, if you prefer to use .exe or .zip etc, feel free.

Hmm... I don't have the experience that most of the other individuals here do... but I can tell you I started out using eBook Gold but I eventually switched to using Nitro Professional for my e-book creations because it was easier. We can only do so much securing of our e-books and let's face it, if someone really wants to get it, they will. So we can make our files secure, but we can't make things too difficult for our customers because by limiting them to specific file types means they can't always enjoy our e-books on all of their viewers.

Dr. Byte is right you can just use those extensions and specify it in your downloads, shouldn't be any problem whatsoever and it's outlined in here https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=71 among other places.

But I'm working this one out over time too so good luck and I'll post back if I find something new and creative.

Kudos to Zen Cart and all of you guys who made it happen! I love this system!

    Thanks Dr Byte and fierystorm.
I had no idea these extensions could be used that way.
    Brilliant!
