Hmm... I don't have the experience that most of the other individuals here do... but I can tell you I started out using eBook Gold but I eventually switched to using Nitro Professional for my e-book creations because it was easier. We can only do so much securing of our e-books and let's face it, if someone really wants to get it, they will. So we can make our files secure, but we can't make things too difficult for our customers because by limiting them to specific file types means they can't always enjoy our e-books on all of their viewers.
Dr. Byte is rightyou can just use those extensions and specify it in your downloads, shouldn't be any problem whatsoever and it's outlined in here https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=71 among other places.
But I'm working this one out over time too so good luck and I'll post back if I find something new and creative.
Kudos to Zen Cart and all of you guys who made it happen! I love this system!![]()
Thanks Dr Byte and fierystorm.
I had no idea these extensions could be used that way.
Brilliant!
