Display Buy Now button on Specials Listing

Hi guys.

I'm using zen cart v1.38a and I was just wondering if it was possible to display sold out/buy now buttons on the specials listing?

I appreciate it is different to the other listings, but I need to be able to display if a special is out of stock and cannot work out how this is done.

Any help would be awesome, cheers

Was getting proper annoyed trying to find the solution so will try this and report back if it works. Not sure if this will allow me to show a sold out icon which is the main thing I need.
