Default Product Quantity adn unit price

    Hello, new here.

I've been searching all over the forum but I couldn't find the answer. Maybe I missed it. I have Zencart 1.3.8 installed

I am starting a wholsale website and want the Unit price to show up (ex. $0.93 ) and then have a dropdown menu option where the client has to choose the quantity from the drop down menu. (ex. 1 case with 48 products, 2 cases with 96 products 3 cases with 144 products, and so forth.

Here's an example of what I'm looking for.

    Thanks for any help.

You would do that with attributes:

    Thanks Stevesh,

I read that before, but since it gives the explanation of colors
attribute, I thought there were ather examples with price x quantity setup.

But I think this will help, I 'll try and work on it.

    Cheers!

help question Re: Product Quantity adn unit price

    Hello again,

I'm using Zen Cart 1.3.8 with
    Easy Populate 1.2.5.5.csv

I've searched all over for a posible solution but I can't find a solution yet.

Does someone here knows if by using attributes can multipy the unit prize by the number of products for a wholesale shopping cart?

    For example:

A product with a unit prize of $.85
A dropdown list with this options:
    1 Pk (48)
    2 Pk (96)
    3 Cs (144)
    4 Cs (288)

How can I multiply $.85 x 48 in the attributes controls?
I already made some attributes by changing the + to an x
and it records like that but it still adds instead of multiplying.

    Anyone has an idea?

Thanks for your quick, helpful and kind response to this matter.

Hey this is good therapy, I'm writing to myself.

Just if this may help someone, I found out I was trying to multiply with an X and it should be an * and it does multiply the price by the number you input.

But still it doesn't do what I want. I'm searching for another shopping cart.
