I am still searching myself. I have the same issue now. My email stopped working. I have just uploaded the email archive as shown above. It says my emails were sent okay.
I will let you know if i fix mine.
I have the standard systems. 8a, with all security patches and super orders.

Ok, I have the following problem, I went to send a newsletter out to 1350 of my customers. I sent a test one to myself and it worked perfectly. I started to send to my customer list and it went for a while, showing me a bunch of green check marks, not enough to be 1350 I don't think though. Then below that I got the error: Email Error: Could not instantiate mail function.
Anyone know if there is any way to actually see if I sent these emails, or why it didn't finish etc?Thanks, Colleen

Very like a mail send threshold on your hosting. Usually set for 100 CT email batches.

There is an extra module which can be added, which archives all sent emails. I used it recently to diagnose a problem. Most ISP's put a limit on bulk emails as it blocks up the system for everyone else.

Thank you so much for that suggestion max44. I didn't know there was a module out there that did that. I've installed it and it seems to be working nicely now.

I got this reply back from my host, and thought I would see if anyone knows if anything like this exists:
"If ZenCart can be configured to "meter" outbound messages, so that it only sends small batches every X minutes, that would get around any host settings".Thanks, Colleen
