Getting a general error at checkout

When I go to check out and go to the final step to submit my order, I get directed back to the step 2 of 3 page and at the top it says There was a general error. Please double-check your information and try again.

I have no idea where to even start with this error. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

I get this same error every so often, anyone have any input?

rthomas79, what are you using for credit card processing, would it happen to be Cybersource? I'm wondering if it has to do with some of the settings in CS.
