Changing the size of Category and Product names?

How do I increase the amount of characters allowed in the Category and Product names?

What is the default setting and where can I find it?

Can I make the change via admin or do I have to make a change in the code?

The size of the Category Name and Product Name is based on the database table structure in:
categories_description
products_description
orders_products

Backup your database and then you can change the field sizes in these tables in phpMyAdmin ...
