Apologies if there is another thread addressing this - my searches yielded nothing I found to be pertinent...

My client has just discovered that they should have been charging shipping tax on all taxable items, which has now been enabled (Tax calculated via Table).

However, in MN, clothing isn't taxable, and so they are not collecting tax for that merchandise. (This has been accomplished by creating a Tax Class, including all other items as part of "Taxable Goods" with the clothing items excluded.) Turning on the shipping tax has made it so that it is being calculated for ALL orders, including the merchandise which isn't taxed.

Question: is it possible to turn off the shipping tax for the non-taxable items? It seems like within the shipping module, it asks for a tax class, so I'm wondering if something can be done there, but I can't figure it out.
