change the 'Sort By' drop down menu that appears at the top of the product list page?

How do you change the options (ABCDEF.....) that are in the drop down menu on the product listing page (clicking on a sub-cat) that has products listed in it?

The default options is the entire alphabet in all CAPS and the numbers 0-9. How are those changed?

I have searched the forums but not getting the answer that I need. Any ideas?

There is a switch in admin > config > Product Listing > Include Product Listing Alpha Sorter Dropdown > where it can be turned on and off....
It is alpha by default, and I believe it would require code to be changed to alter - another might know of another switch if one exists...
What do you want as a sorter list?

Sorry for hijacking this thread but I too want to change the sort by but I would want it be sorted by price by price.

Not sure what "Best Match" is?? to what? entered where?

Only way is to custom code this
