Running version 1.3.8a. Installed most recent admin security patch (20090619) (i.e. the one where you rename the admin folder)
I followed the instructions. Renamed admin area works fine, admin overall works fine.
When I go to the site, the home page just stops. It loads a few header graphics and just dies (there is no real 'text')
Turned on debug. Here's the result....
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method breadcrumb::size() in /home/kvolkus1/public_html/shop/includes/templates/ZC03C00273/common/tpl_main_page.php on line 188
any thoughts...site is down and this sucks.

The admin security patch has nothing to do with the non-admin area of your site. *All* of the files in the admin security patch go under your admin folder. NONE of them go in the non-admin area, so the patch has NO ability to affect the storefront ... unless you installed some of the admin files in the non-admin area contrary to the instructions.

The "upgrade" option offered by Fantastico should *only* ever be used if you've *never* customized anything on your site. Any other time their upgrade will break your site.

Agreed. Did this the old fashioned way according to the directions and it worked. Had to restore both DB and site from backup, then rename ADMIN directory, then unzip and apply patches manually. I should have known not to trust Fantastico with this.
