Percentage Discount Not showing Text or Percentage off

The site used to show something like

Percentage off 24%

Under the price down.

No I cant remember if this was a Mod I was supposed to re-install after the upgrade or someplace that is missing a file.

What do I do?

I see the Defines are still in my English file.

Product Info - Show Sales Discount Savings Status
Product Info - Show the amount of discount savings?
0= off 1= on

similar problem - I have my settings set to 1.


But I don't have the "% off" under my specials

What happens if you switch to the Classic Template ... do they show up?

I'll try that a bit later on when the site's a tad quieter & I'll report back

(I have to admit - I've never tried the 'switch to classic template' before - will it cause any problems with my actual site when I switch back)?

That is the point of the templates to be interchangeable ...

The differences may show in the sideboxes ... but you are looking for the listings and the product_info ... so be on that page when you switch it ... then refresh the page and switch it back to see what the results are with the least amount of affect on your site for visitors ...

Seriously, tho, yes, the '% off' notation IS visible via the classic template.

This would indicate the problem is with your template then ...

You might use something such as Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com to compare your template to the default files to see why this isn't working on your customized template ...

I am sure that it used to be visible; however, I've added a few mods of late so I've obviously done 'something' to make it disappear

Would there be any particular files that I would be needing to concentrating on?
