Subcategory Titles are Stacking

Why are the subcategory titles stacking on top of one another and how can I fix it?

One is the text link and one is the image.

The image it is looking for is 'images/pixel_trans.gif'. Which is a 1px blank image. It should be where it says.

Because it isn't finding the image Zen Cart is using the alt text. Which is the same as the link.

You need to decide is you are going to use category images or not. If you are not then I think you can disable them in admin >> configuration >> product listing
