Dimensional Pricing - Yet Again

I have read through the forums and even searched the web but am not finding a good way to do what I need to do for a clients site.

I need to do the length x width calculation at a price per square foot....

..I have seen a few threads that spoke about it but there never seems to be an answer or exact how to to make this happen....

my dream would be to have it like this page:

Just the left part where the Length and Width are...this is a zen so I know it can be done....

Any help or suggestions?

You have to write software. There's nothing built in.
