New email template for custom status

Hi all,

Is it possible to create an email template for a 'custom' order status.

I am looking to have individual emails with a brief description of the current status;

Rather than having --> "New status: Order shipped"

I'd like to have something like --> "Your order has been shipped. Australia Post delivery takes approximately blah blah....."

I checked the email_template_order_status.html file - the status is being displayed via the email_text_status_label variable - how can i have that linked to a 'paragraph' of text describing my custom status'?

What you're asking for isn't a templating thing.
You'll have to customize the email content that's generated in the file you're running. So, if you're running /admin/orders.php, then that's the file you'll have to edit to write your custom code to customize the messages that it generates.
