Use same shopping cart for different site?

Whether you want to have the information the same on both sites is up to you. If the same people will be working on both sites, it's probably easier that way, but avoid assigning different people the same login information or they may accidently start fiddling with the wrong site.

Did you try the "old" admin ID/password on the "new" site?

I did at one point but i was assuming that it was taking me to the 1st site because of the password, they are identical in templates for now, i was so frustrated I didnt even pay attention to the address bar. I will now though. I will try again, hopefully it will work this time, thank you. If not I will be back.

Ok, now it seems to have worked, but I want to verify, i can delete customers from one site and products and not effect the other site, right?

Yes, as long as each site has its own database.

I'm confused as it seems like the issue has changed.

I just want to know how to create another store and use the same payment gateway as our main site. Did I miss something???
