I am an avid user of Zen Cart, but its biggest failing, is not being able to take the buyer straight to the payment provider, without enduring a lengthy and tedious checkout procedure.

I use PayPal to process my payments, but what I hadn't realised, is that PayPal Express requires buyers to register an account with PayPal, whereas with PayPal IPN they can just pay with a credit, or debit card without creating an account with PayPal.

Many online buyers don't want to end up giving out all their details twice, on both Zen Cart and the Payment provider site, which gives the potential for a lot of shopping cart abandonments. Apart from using something like COWOA, which is not an ideal solution, has anyone ever found a practical solution to this problem??
