bug Changing the SOLD OUT button in a customized template

I want to change the SOLD OUT button to an image, which would be easy if using the Zen Cart template but mine is customized. All buttons are defined with a custom css stylesheet. How do I make an exception for this particular button? Does the function php need to be edited, the css stylesheet or something else? Thanks much

I know I can turn off the CSS buttons, and point to a customized SOLD OUT button but then I'd have to recreate all the other buttons. Just wondering if there is an easier eay. I appreciate any help.

    Thanks.

In a custom copy of tpl_product_info_display.php for your template, the "Cart add" section would require adjustment and a img src to replace standard code that displays the button, or in your case the css -
I looked and this is a busy bit of code & right now I do not have the time or expertise to quickly post how to alter it....
Maybe you can have a look or another can provide exactly what you need

From the file tips.txt in the CSS Buttons contribution (if that's the one you're using)...

    2) To over ride a single CSS button by an image button:

Copy the image button (from template_default, or created yourself) to:

    includes/YOUR_TEMPLATE/buttons/english/

    For example copy:
    includes/template_default/buttons/english/button_update_cart.gif
    to:
    includes/YOUR_TEMPLATE/buttons/english/button_update_cart.gif

Thanks kobra for looking at this and rstevenson for your reply.

rstevenson, I ended up uploading button gifs for all and turned the CSS buttons off in admin. However, I tested your suggestion because it made a lot of sense but it didn't work. Hmm. Anyway, I did it the long way and it worked.

    Thanks much.
