Adding a bookmark us script.

I am new to editing the code, and am having a rather difficult time navigating through it. I have a little knowledge of php, and would like to find out where my code-bit is located. I have searched the forum and the FAQ, and the wiki as well. No answers. Most just address editing the stylesheets.

I want to add anoter link to the top-meny in the header (on all pages), where it says "Home" and "log in". I have found the CSS-bits, but I want to include a bookmark us link that requires a little java script that is supposed to go in the header, and I need to address the script with the clickable link. My main problem is that I am not able to locate any code-bits containing the links that make up "home" and "log in". Can anyone put me on track? I am running 1.3.7. The shop has been operational for over a year, and I am looking to upgrading, but that's another story!

THe Home and Login links are located in the tpl_header.php found here:
templates/your_template/common directory

look between

<!--bof-header logo and navigation display-->

and

<!--eof-navigation display-->

the div ID is navMain

Adding javascript is a bit tricksy though as all the scripts have to go into your jscript directory
