General Editing Questions

Good day all!

I am interested in using Zen Cart as a one page storefront featuring one e-book and three service options. Only one of the four choices may be purchased at a time. After submitting the order, the checkout and download process would go on.

First, is this possible?

Second, when editing the main stylesheet, will deletion of an item cause a breakdown of the system? e.g., I want to use my own main page in define_main_page.php but the system keeps adding a MainWrapper to it, in addition to the header and footer and graphics.

My stylesheet alterations have rendered the content I added as I wanted it but I am curious how to get rid of things that I don't want.

Does using a /CUSTOM/ subdirectory for my own content have some effect on that?

Yes -
admin > config > Layout Settings > Main Page - Opens with Category > set cat#

Actually can not do what I first stated and also have your define_main_page.php display
To adjust the removal of header & footer see tpl_main_page.php and the many comments
