I thought i did this right, but apparently not.
In Admin>Config>Index listing, i disabled everything, but i still get the "New product for (month)" box showing up.

Do you have a custom template, and does it do the same thing when you switch to the Classic template?
I use the default template and i dunno how to switch, so cant tell you

I dont see anything in the other -listing that actually disable the center boxes.
Its still there when i click my (empty) shopping cart
I've managed to disable "New products for [month] on every page except on the "Empty shopping cart" page.
Is this a bug? I see no setting for this.
Anyone knows how I would get rid of this?

The boxes on the shopping cart page are controlled by switches in Admin->Configuration->Stock
.
