IE vs Firefox issues

Ok, I have been working on this problem all day (editing CSS, checking divs, using firebug; not really useful for checking IE stuff, checking forums) and I cannot seem to figure out what is making the header in IE to have the white space where as Firefox, Safari does not. The one thing I can tell is the "mainWrapper" is the white showing up top, but the header seems to be the one that is pushing the header image, links down.

I know i fixed this somehow but can;t recall how.

Use chrome (inspect element) and download my css file: yodgee.com.au

and compare to yours if you like.

I should also tell you, I want the layout in Firefox and NOT the view in IE. I am trying to get rid of the top white bar.
