Product descriptions that won't go away

So I noticed as I was adding some mods that my 'new products' center box and my 'featured products' center box had reverted to a row format. I had them originally set to 3 columns. I thought that maybe something I had done had reset something in Admin.

I have done the following:
-under product listing I have it set to 0 for 'display product description', and I have it set to 3 columns per row.
-have have also changed 'display product description' to 0 for 'New Listings', 'Featured Listings' and 'All Listings'
-I have new, featured and special listings under 'Index Listings' set to 3 columns per row

Even after all that things remain unchanged.

I changed my template to Classic, and indeed things show how they should - with the center boxes having 3 columns



So I can only assume that something in my custom template has been hard coded. I just don't know what I have to change, or where.

You're using the zj_silver_wide template, so I suggest finding the support thread for that and asking the template creator.

Like a lot of problems... this one required a good nights sleep before it could be solved. Found the problem under includes/modules. The original new_products.php was being overridden by one in the MY_TEMPLATE folder.

I changed the name of the new_products.php in the MY_TEMPLATE folder to new_products.phpmod and the problem was resolved.
