Have a Drink upload file attribute

I am not very smart with this attribute stuff.

I have read a lot of tutorials but cannot figure it out. I am trying to add ability for users to upload images, because I am making a site for custom buttons.

I know there is a way to do it through attributes but I cannot figure it out, can someone walk me through the steps and hold my hand?

It would be very cool if you did.

    Danke,
    Miles

Go to Catalog and select Option name manager.

Enter a suitable name, a sort order and select file from the drop down box

Then go to Catalog and select Attibute Controller and insert your newly created attribute onto your products

when a customer uploads an image and checks out, the image is uploaded to /images/uploads.

The file name also gets converted to a number ie 1.jpg , 2.jpg, 3.jpg etc. The customer does not see the change and they will still see their current file name rather than the new one created by the zen cart software

The image also only gets uploaded when they have checked out

    Wow that is simple...

    Thank you!

One more question, you say it uploads to a new file name, when placed on the server does the file name have any indication who uploaded it, if that makes since?

Meaning will the user-name be associated with the upload, how do you know who uploaded what?
