I am closing 1 of 2 carts and wish to add the customers of one to the other, is this possible?

You'd have to:
1. Get permission from each of your customers.
2. Check for duplicates
3. Renumber all the customer records in all the respective database tables
4. Import the renumbered new customer records using a tool like phpMyAdmin to export and import those respective tables..
