Sideboxes missing in old browser

Hi, I am using the latest zen cart (cherry zen template with various add ons http://shop.zenpc.co.za) and recently updated with the security patch. The problem I have is while building the site I have constantly been checking it in Chrome, IE and firefox and all seemed great.

Than I checked it on my old laptop which has IE6 and both the left and right sideboxes are missing? Please could someone help, I have pretty much no coding skills beyond cut and paste

Dont worry, it was just the Google news feed I had on the home page, it works fine with the latest browsers but spazzes out with a few of the older ones.
