Admin Foreign Charcters - ???

How do I get the admin to show foreign characters in customer names?

so far my search yields add/change the store languages/charactors, which I'm really not interested in

Aside from sales in the US, I also get a lot of sales from Europe and Asia as well

But if their name consists of non US English characters, I get something like this "Jörg"

Which probably means the store generated emails are sending out their emails that way too

...and what if I have to personally address them too?

current zencart charset is iso-8859-1 in order to store foreign characters in zencart you need to install zc as UTF 8 . this is not easy task with already running store . but pretty easy to convert ZC to UTF 8 before installing .
