Free Shipping plus other options.

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a free shipping option on orders over $100 and still give the customer an option to select our other shipping options. I've found the following two links but it doesn't seem to work.

I've gone to "admin >modules >order total" and removed the shipping module. Then went to "admin >modules >shipping and removed the "Free Shipping (freeshipper)" module. I configured the "Free Shipping Options (freeoptions) as follows, however if I add $100 or more items to my shopping cart I only get express or priority shipping, no free shipping option . Is there something I missed? I am on Zen Cart 1.3.8a, thanks in advance and I hope everyone is having a good memorial day weekend.

You said you removed the Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping ...

I am not sure why you would do that ...

Reinstall that ...

Next, you have a Zone setting on your Free Shipping Options ... make sure that you have added the Details to that Zone for the US ...

The USA zone only had the state the store is based out of definedas a sub zone. I added United States >> All Zones and everything is working great. I've been learning zen cart less than a month and I'm already seeing it's potential.

1 more question, free shipping option is priority mail. Is there a way to remove priority mail as an option when free shipping is present? I'm familiar with PHP and have been editing the includes files. If that is not a possibility which file can I edit to change the text that says "Free Shipping"?

BTW: I thought the ot_shipping wasn't needed if I was doing free shipping through freeoptions.

The file to modify the text for free shipping options at checkout is located at
includes\laguages\english\modules\shipping\freeoptions.php
I've edited this file to say "Priority Mail" instead of just Free Shipping

Is there a way to remove priority mail if free shipping is available (order is over $100) from the USPS shipping options right below it?

Where the array of shipping methods are built:

          $methods[] = array('id' => $type,
                             'title' => $title,
                             'cost' => ($cost + MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_HANDLING) * $shipping_num_boxes);

You could test the $type and the amount of the order to skip adding that one ...

Thanks, and sorry for the delayed reply, it seems that I'm not getting notifications from the forum. Do you know where I could find this file? It seems like I would just have to wrap a If statement around the code you pointed out but I'm not sure where to find it.
