Strange "symbol"

Hello everyone,
I had a hard time to figure out how to remove strange symbol that appears as a prefix to every of my category title. Look at the picture


Any ideas?
Im using Zen Cart 3.8a and tried to fix this problem in Admin area "Layout settings"

The 'strange symbol' would appear to be incorrect display of the arrow image used with class="category-top".

Edit your stylesheet

change the 4px to -4px as shown below

a.category-top {
background:transparent url(../images/arrow.gif) no-repeat scroll 0 -4px;
}
