CCV removal

Hi All,

I couldn't find anything clear on this so thought I would ask.

I have enabled CCV to be stored for offline credit card processing.

I'm using: 1.3.8 with latest security patch installed.

From reading the thread below it isn't a good idea to store these numbers.

I need to have CCV information for some payments or they will not process.

Should I be deleting the CCV number after processing an offline order? If so how do I do this the right way ?

If anyone wants to know you can remove the CCV when you view a customers order.

As I wasn't collecting it previously it was not visible then.
