    Default Sudden Admin error

    Greetings all,

I've recently installed Zen Cart and had everything running. I went to log into the admin account but got this error:

Warning: require(DIR_WS_TEMPLATEStemplate_default/common/html_header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /.../admin/index.php on line 43

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'DIR_WS_TEMPLATEStemplate_default/common/html_header.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /.../admin/index.php on line 43

What went wrong here. I can't get into my backend at all.

    Thanks,

    --Allen

Sounds like your DIR_FS_CATALOG setting is wrong in your /admin/includes/configure.php file.

Thanks for your response. I checked that setting. It is ok.

I realized I didn't give enough info. I'm running the most recent Zec Cart. The front end store appears to work just fine. The admin login screen appears but then I get the error.

The only file changes I've made, I think, are that I've replaced the Zen Cart branding graphics w/ my own, tho why that would affect the admin area, I don't know.

    Thanks again,

Check if there is a trainling slash in DIR_FS_CATALOG setting in your /admin/includes/configure.php file. Is seems it is missing

    'DIR_WS_TEMPLATEStemplate_default/common/html_header.php'

    vs

    'DIR_WS_TEMPLATES/template_default/common/html_header.php'

tino, that's a bad suggestion, since there is no such setting in the admin configure.php file.

So where might the DIR_WS_TEMPLATES setting be?

Can anyone shed light on this. This store helps fund a non-profit but can't do that if it doesn't work.

    Thanks,

For some reason you've got the storefront version of index.php in your admin folder instead of the admin one.

I'm getting this error code, not able to view the site or admin. I tried to set-up the SSL by changing the configure.php code in admin & includes.

    Here is the error code:

[23-Nov-2009 11:37:45] PHP Warning: require(DIR_WS_TEMPLATEStemplate_default/common/html_header.php) [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/s/a/v/savingrain/html/cart/index.php on line 85
    [23-Nov-2009 11:37:46] PHP Fatal error: require() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'DIR_WS_TEMPLATEStemplate_default/common/html_header.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/content/s/a/v/savingrain/html/cart/index.php on line 85

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -

    You've damaged your configure.php files.
You'll need to put back the backups you made just before editing them, and then do your edits again.
And, remember, the files have DIFFERENT content between admin and non-admin. Don't mix them up. They're not interchangeable despite having some similarities.
