Newbie Question - easy populate

I have no clue. I want to install easy populate but i dont get the install instructions. This is what it says:

1) Change the name of the "admin" directory in this package to suit your zencart installation
2) The temp folder is configured to reside in your store directory. If you store is not in the
site root (eg. /mystore/) then the temp directory must also go in this directory.
3) If you want to re-name the uploads (temp) folder, ensure that you configure Easy Populate to
reflect this change after installation
4) Upload all files in their respective directories.
5) Go to Admin -> Tools -> Easy Populate. If prompted to install Easy Populate, click on the
link provided. Otherwise, type in your browser address bar ?langer=install after /easypopulate.php
(eg. YOUR_ADMIN/easypopulate.php?langer=install). If you wish to remove and re-install the default
config settings, type ?langer=remove after /easypopulate.php
(eg. YOUR_ADMIN/easypopulate.php?langer=remove) and begin this step again.
6) Go to Admin -> Configuration -> Easy Populate, and configure the upload directory if you have
changed it from default. Also, ensure that the correct date format is set for your upload files.
7) If this mod gives you more time with your family or friends, and/or less customer headaches, please
consider a donation to paypal AT portability DOT com DOT au to ensure this module is continually supported and improved :-)

IMPORTANT!!!

** your temp folder must have owner permissions to read/write/execute (chmod 700) for EP to work.
EP now adjusts this for you (unless you have a windows server - ask your host to adjust permissions on this folder for the IIS web server)
** The temp folder has example downloaded files in it. You may wish to delete these before uploading.
** It is recommended that you download a file 1st and use this as a template for your uploads (install should do this for you..)
** If for some reason the config install fails, you can upload the SQL file provided using Admin -> Tools -> Install SQL Patches
That's it!

SOME PEOPLE SET UP ZENCART IN A SUB DIRECTORY, OFF THEIR ROOT DIRECTORY ON THEIR SERVER. IF YOU SET UP ZENCART IN THE ROOT DIRECTORY EG:

THEN DO NOTHING.

IF YOU SET UP ZENCART IN A SUBDIRECTORY EG:

www.myshop.com/store

THEN MAKE THE CHANGES SUGGESTED.

YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE A FOLDER CALLED TEMP, IN THE RELATIVE DIRECTORY. IF NOT, DO NOTHING.

FTP THE EASY POPULATE FILES TO YOUR SERVER, KEEPING THE DIRECTORY STRUCTURE THE SAME - SO WHERE EASYPOP FILES GO INTO "INCLUDES/LANGUAGES/ETC", JUST MAKE SURE THAT THESE FILES EXIST IN ON YOUR SERVER. IF THEY DON'T EXIST, THEY ARE USUALLY CREATED DURING THE FTP UPLOAD. (SEE BELOW ***)

where do i put the files

YOU MUST USE A GOOD FTP PROGRAM.

SIMPLY OPEN UP YOUR FTP TO SHOW THE WEBSERVER IN ONE FRAME, AND YOUR HARD DISK IN THE OTHER.

ON THE WEBSERVER FRAME, GET TO THE FOLDER IN WHICH YIUR ZENCART IS INSTALLED.

ON YOUR HARD DRIVE FRAME, GET TO THE UNZIPPED EASYPOPULATE FILES.

YOU WILL NOW SEE THAT DIRECTORY NAMES IN YOUR LEFT FRAME MATCH SIMILAR DIRECTORY NAMES IN YOUR RIGHT FRAME - IF NOT GO UP/DOWN A LEVEL UNTIL THEY DO MATCH.

THERE WILL PROBABLY BE A DIRECTORY CALLED TEMP IN YOUR HARD DRIVE FRAME, THAT DOES NOT MATCH A SIMILAR TEMP DIRECTORY IN YOUR SERVER FRAME.

HIGHLIGHT ALL FOLDERS AND FILES ON YOUR HARD DRIVE FRAME. CLICK THE ARROW THAT STARTS THE FTP TP YOUR SERVER.

WHEN ALL FILES ARE SENT ACROSS, CARRY ON WITH INSTRUCTIONS FROM 5 ABOVE

I am uploading my EP now, and wondering about the temp file... My store files don't seem to have a corresponding "temp" file, but my website does... it's "tmp," I believe.

Do I place the EP temp folder there? Or do I put it in the admin section of my store? And if I put it in the tmp folder, do I change the name to tmp? Do I upload the documents inside individually, or just upload the whole folder?

I got it. In case anyone else is as much of a dingbat as I am: ftp the temp file into your main store directory, on the same level as the admin file, not in the admin file. D'oh!

Thank you also for the hand holding, I was able to get this installed. I am getting a Warning: array_flip() [function.array-flip]: The argument should be an array in ..... error, what have I missed?
