Help with sub category and product border box.

Hi

I would line to border the products on the following and other pages.

I would like this format for the sub categories when you go into a main category, and also around the products when showing 3 across. Obviously ther would be no buy button for the catergories.

Please find the image for what I want to acheive.

Could anyone give me some pointers where to start to acheive this.
