I'm using a stock install of 1.3.8 and was wondering if a front page layout similar to http://www.ukofficedirect.co.uk/ was possible.

Essentially, I want all top level categories to display their 2nd level subcategories on the main page and all I can think of is "hack the code....hack the code" which I want to avoid if it's not the "Zen Cart" way.

Anyone come across something similar on their travels and know how to implement?
