Limit payment options to International buyers??

So the company who wants me to set up a cart wants strict payment methods when it comes to international buyers. They'd like credit card payments limited ONLY to domestic buyers and a few options for the international.
Is there an addon that can do this? I looked through some of the threads and addon pages and didn't see anything that specifically stated this. Any help would be appreciated.

Build Zones for who you want to use your Payment Methods and then you can add those to each Payment Method to limit who has access to them ...

I am havine the same sort of problem here. I have been using the direct payment module and for some reason this options show up when I log in as if a US resident. ( ia m in Australia)
even though I have only Australia selected for the model in the zones. Any suggestions.

Just an bit of an update on this little problem. I discovered also that this IS working and NOT showing when I do a tangeable order only to the US. But with a digital. it is giving the option of Direct Deoposit, when it shouldnt be offering this.

Check that the Payment module has a Zone set ...

Then check the Zone Definition and make sure that the Details are defined correctly to only include who is allowed to use this Payment module ...

Hi, The DD payment model has the zone set for Australia. In the zone definations. I only have 2 zones defined. zone for Australia/description-Australia, which has all the states of Australia listed. And another zone for Non Australian/description-All Others, which has 36 countries listed. I also have the money order/cheque enabled and it is working properly, and uses the same definations and it is working.

Hi, I had the same problem. In the file \includes\modules\payment\dirbank.php , search for this string: $this->enabled = false; . Then change false to true. FTP the modified file to the server. old fella

That would depend on where that is set ...

$this->enabled = true;

will allow the module to show ...

However, if that is just "stuck" in the program somewhere with the other logic settings for the $this->enabled be ignored or overridden by where that is set it could be allowing the module to run when it shouldn't ...

If it is fixing an issue where it needed to be set to true in a particular circumstance then it could have fixed a problem ...

In the file \includes\modules\payment\dirbank.php , this string below was changed to true
$this->enabled = false;

Maybe if I changed it back and had a look if it changed my current problem.
