Include default product with each order

I work for a company that sells Car graphics using the Zen Cart. The car graphics are sold UK wide and are fitted by our customers via the use of a squeegee. At the moment the squeegee is sold seperately on our website.

What I want to do is make the Zen Cart work as if the squeegee is ordered automatically with every order and customers have to opt out of ordering it (with a drop down list for example) rather than have to go to a seperate page to make the order.

Is this possible, and if so how?

I don't know any way to do that without custom coding.

Do you really want to force your customers to have to opt out of buying a product? Unless I don't understand exactly what you're trying to do, I wouldn't accept that, as a customer.

Interesting idea, though, if there's a reason for it.

I totally agree with you about it being a strange request - it certainly would put me off - but the request has come from on high so who am I to argue?

Having looked at the attributes of particular a product it does look like there is a way of making them global to all products. The only thing is its not easily reversible whithout restoring the mysql table - to which I do not have access at the moment.
