Change number of items on Featured Products on Main Page

Featured Products on Main page only shows 3 items when Maximum Display of Featured Products - Main Page is set to 9.

How can I get this tor properly display all 9 of my featured items?

I am using the ZJ Black template and have disabled the custom module /includes/modules/zj_black/featured_products.php so that it uses the default one.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

can increase the no of products on the main page listing. currently 9 products are there at a time under "new products for November" .. thanks

I have the exact same problem, except with the New Products center box on my homepage. I only have five products currently and I wish to automatically show all five when the user first arrives. I've been trying to figure this out for days!

Thanks for your help, but it doesn't work. I set the value to 9 and it still only shows 3 by default. The user has to click on the little plus sign to show all (which I don't think most people will realize).

Switch to the classic template and see if t responds
Then look at thwe template files that migh be responsible

I had the same problem with my site and I had a template installed. I wanted only 6 items on the main page instead of 9

Even though I set admin --> Configuration --> Maximum Values --> Maximum display of featured products - main page to 6, it was still showing 9

So then I set Configuration --> Maximum values --> New Products Module to 6 also........ and it fixed it!

You have discovered that one must know which display they want to adjust
If it is the New products then featured will not have any affect
