Subcategory & 3rd level links not working from page

I have modified the shopping system to support selling wholesale products

But the link for category & sub & third level ONLY work from the category box on the left, they list in the center of the page above products and stuff, but the links do not work even though they are correctly formatted?

Can someone please review...

I don't see any subcategory links that are not working correctly. What browser are you using?
How/what did you modify? Actual PHP code changes or just admin settings?

They work in IE7 and FF, but not in IE8, though I can't see any reason why. What happens if you switch temporarily back to the Classic template?

It did not matter about the template. I made some PHP changes, but nothing that would affect those links. I made a drop down out of the quantity box so we could sell products by wholesale. And I am using an XML/Javascript function to populate the Box based on Live inventory from the Suppliers XML service. I am not sure why those links would all of a sudden stop working in IE8, but this is a huge hinderance in launching. I basically need them to not appear or simply work correctly.
