Need Help!! Importing products from excel

I am a total newbie and need help badly. I have an excel spreadsheet with over a 1500 different products and I need them all in zencart.

I am trying to import them using phpMyAdmin - 2.8.0.1. But I keep getting a error #1064 I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am new to php and zencart as well as sql so if anyone can guide me in the right direction that would be a blessing.

You might want to use the Easy Populate mod instead. Search the Free Software Add Ons (above).

Thank you, I downloaded the addon I have one ore question currently my zen-cart is not installed in my site root. What would be the easiest way to move it should I uninstall and reinstall or can i just move the files from the directory into the siteroot?
