No such file error

I just installed Zen Cart for the first time. Everything works except when I go to view a product I get the following error.

It is looking for a includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_product_info_default.php

This file isn't included in the download. i tried downloading older versions of zencart and it wasn't in any of them either. does anyone know what the problem is or could send me a fresh copy of tpl_product_info_default.php

The problem isn't that the file isn't there, because it's created dynamicly, or doesn't exist until it's needed. I think.

The problem is probably in your configure.php file. check and make sure all the paths are correct and that your username and password is correct as well.

I have looked over the configure.php file multiple times and everything looks to be correct.

What template are you using?
Line 119 in tpl_main_page is where all the code for the page body is loaded.
Do you have anything heavily modified on the product page body?

That's correct.
Zen Cart uses tpl_product_info_display.php normally.

What's different between what you've installed to your server vs the original Zen Cart fileset ? I suspect you've got an addon or contribution or template that's got wrong settings in it.

What's the URL where we can see this in action ?

This is a fresh install. I haven't changed any of the files at all.

Then your FTP program let you down ...

You're missing the /includes/modules/pages/product_info/main_template_vars.php file on your server.

Awesome. That was the problem.

That is very strange though. I tried installing it twice and both times uploaded everything from scratch. All the other files where there but that one.

Thanks so much. I have used Cubecart for about 20 stores and we are looking at switching to Zen Cart and are testing it out to see if it will work out for us.

The above fixed the err for me to. In my case I am using the latest version 1.3.8 and had installed the magic zoom plus add on. When I uploaded the page folders included in the add on, I replaced product_info page with the one from the add on (magic zoom) and that got rid of the files. I then went back and made sure all those files were there (in inlcludes/modules/pages/product_info and then simply added the one js file I should have added and it was all good.
