i recent installed zen cart on my x10hosting.com site which intially starts well but now all of a sudden gives me a error while running admin login.

    i.e ADMIN LOGIN - -

    0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED
    in:
    [select * from project_version WHERE project_version_key = 'Zen-Cart Database' ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

i'm really frustrated with it as even after re-installing same problem prevails..

its very important to me, so i'm awaiting some pro guidance on this one.

Have you contacted your host regarding this? They might need to change your database password.

No sarcasm, but some advice - don't try to run Zencart (or any other real software) on 'free' hosting. The time you'll waste trying to get it to work (and keep working) will cost you more than the few dollars you'll spend for a decent hosting account.

'Free' hosts are OK for small HTML hobby sites, but if you want to do business on the Web, forget them.

As the error message is telling you, you aren't connecting to the database. Could be your user name and password in the configure.php files is wrong, or a server problem which your host will have to fix.
