option values in admin are duplicated...why?

Hello,

I am just setting up the attributes in admin.
The options names are fine, will have size and color, but when I enter option values....teh values are duplicated...shown twice.
I get...lets say red shown twice, like reported here

I am running v138a and I found threads with a possible solution here:

Unfortunatetly it didn't fix it for me....any idea?

You already said 1.3.8a

But what about:

• Has your site been upgraded? When? From what version(s)?
• What addons have you installed? When?
• In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install?
• If you're encountering display/layout problems, post your site URL so it can be seen in action.
• WHEN did the problem "start"? How does that compare with other events of your hosting company, changes you've made to your site files/addons, or your admin settings, etc?

• What addons have you installed? When? Just started from scratch, so installed some Addons, but any having to do with admin: imagehandler, zenlightbox, icAtheme, the template, testimonila manager, moneybookers, crafty livehelp, column lay out grid
  

• In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install? Quite dont understand this question...used icAtheme template and customized it my way...
• If you're encountering display/layout problems, post your site URL so it can be seen in action. My site URL is in my signature...sorry thought it would be understood, but I see now that it has not to be, sorry for not being more specific...www.wallart-decor.com

Cant say when actually started, I am already ready with everything...just needed to add attributes as the motives have different color and sizes and just wanted to finish the attributes when noticed abotu the duplicates...

How many option values do you have defined? What are they?

Right now I defined one option name - color and 60 option values - the color names, but the duplicates were already there from the first option value defined. Still will need to define another option name - size with all teh different sizes...

Are you saying the duplicates are only in the Admin in the Option Values Manager ... or are you saying that if you add Color Red to a Product you see Red twice in the Catalog?

Screen shots of where you are seeing this are helpful, if this is in the Admin ...

URLs are helpful, if the problem is in the store ...

I looked at your site and do not see anything on the Products as you have no attributes added, so it is hard to guess at the problem or if this is a case of bad data or multiple languages etc. causing this ...

yes, the duplicates are only in the admin, not in the catalogue, tehre everything is fine.
well, somehow cant make a screenshot....anyway, here is a link to a similar thread where a screenshot is provided and looks same as mine, pls take look here

Right now tehre is only one product on my website having the attributes, you can see it here

I do have croatian language pack installed, but on admin side it isa just a copy of english. I also switched languages to see if it persists in english language, but it also does, so at least I can exclude this....

As I mentioned before DrByte posted the solution here

but it didnt fix in my case.

The Option Name Values have 1 entry for each language ...

So even if the "Name" is "Red" in both languages, you are going to see both in the Options Names Manager ...

On the Store, you will see just the 1 for the current language ...

This would allow for a site with, for example, English and French, to show:
Red
Rouge

And then in the store, you would see "either" Red or Rouge depending on the current language the shop was in ...

I know about when using languages lets say two languages I can enter btoh, but I have two times both...even te ID is duplicated, so i dont have two names (one for each languages), but I see two times red and two times the translation, eg.

ID option name option value default sort
1 color red and second language 1

1 color red and second language 1

2 color blue and second language 2

I have 60 option names 10 (each in two languages) shown on one page. Therefore I should have 6 pages, but I have 12 and actually shown 120 option names (each in two languages).

Fortunately in store I see just one red..not two, in store front everything is fine.

I think I would need to see your Admin as I think I am saying what you are seeing but I cannot be sure without actually seeing this ...
