Applying A Coupon Code To A Product?

Hi,

I wondered if it's possible to apply a coupon code to a specific product.

I want to let potential customers purchase a certain product at a discounted price and send them a discount code to enable them to do that.

Or is there a simpler way of doing it?

After you create the Discount Coupon, you will see a RESTRICTIONS button that you can define what products and/or categories can or cannot be used with the coupon ...

I have a question about setting up the restrictions.

I created my coupon, then went to restrictions. In the top section under "category restrictions" I chose my 2 categories and put them as "allow". Do I need to now site and mark ALL the other categories as "deny"?

Set the Top as Deny ... then your 2 categories as Allow ...
