I'm a beginner, just learning my way round Zen-Cart. I'm going to be drop-shipping goods from my store, so I was very pleased to spot this module.

After reading through the thread, though, I'm left with a question. I'm in the UK and will not be using any of the American shipping companies. Will this module help me?

If so, how do I set it up?

Sorry to say, that no, it will not. It will work with UPS only.

I'm looking forward to your mod using UPS as the shipper, as well, Lightpockets. I currently can't use a second drop shipper only because they use a different method of calculating shipping than the drop shipper I currently use now. It sounds like your (UPS) mod may be my answer. Keep up the good work as your efforts are appreciated!

Sadly, it's kind of fallen off my radar for a bit. I was in a pretty bad car accident recently which has prevented me from doin' much work outside of site development for personal and client sites. I will get to UPS someday though. It's also worth noting, that I am only a "partial" author of this contribution, it says this in the documentation as well. Others I have the pleasure of working with haven't been readily available recently either.

I will keep ya'll posted though.

Tripped upon this module quit by accident today while scanning the day's posts. I would definitely use this module when it is complete. My problem right now is I use 3 dropshippers, and each uses a different shipping method - UPS, Fedex, and Priority Mail.

Experience has shown me that Priority Mail rates are significantly lower than UPS when the product weight is 2 lbs or less, so I see a definite need for all three shipping options. And outside the US, there are other shippers, so maybe it needs the flexibility to insert your own rate tables. have not looked at the code of the current contribution, so apologize if this flexibility already exists.
