Add orders in admin like a virtual terminal?

We take a lot of orders over the phone, then end up charging the order in a virtual terminal for Authorize.net. The problem with this is that we end up not having a record of the order in admin... not very efficient.

I realize I could add the customer, then login as the customer, and charge the order... but I'm wondering if there is an easy way to do this all in the admin faster.

Is there a way to charge this order in my admin and have the customer's order added to the DB?

Maybe create a ZC account called PhoneOrders and use that when you take phone order?
