where's the dang html?

I just downloaded firefox, and the web developer, which is freakin' awesome. Now, it gives me the option of editing the html, as well as the css, and there is something I'd like to tweak in the html, but I have no idea how or where to upload it! I've scoured my files, and checked on firefox and looked in these forums as well as the faqs...

Is there some master html file somewhere I can't see? Do I have to do something tricky to find it?

Specifically, the problem I'm having is this: I have changed the name of one of my buttons, because I want it in a png instead of a gif. I've uploaded the button, and changed the name of it in my buttons definitions css, but it still won't take. But when I make the change in the html, and apply it, it "takes," but only as a preview. I have no idea where to upload the file or change the existing file.

If it was only that simple...

What you are seeing (and editing) with your Firefox tools, is just the output of the PHP scripts that run on your web server and generate new html code on-demand as each page is viewed.

You need to edit the PHP (and CSS) files to make your site look and behave differently.

Im your zc admin under tools you will find the developers toolkit

use the search tools there to find the name of the original image..
this will take you to where you can rename the define for the file to use

Hi Merlin, Thank you. I think I have something odd going on, because changing the image name in the define buttons file was the first thing I did. It's working just fine for all the other buttons, but this single one just doesn't want to cooperate for some reason.

I'll keep futzing with it.
