Removing Right Column?

Hello

Ok - I am setting up my new website - http://www.marlodeedesigns.com/store - I am trying to customize the classic template that came with the install. My version of ZC is 1.3.8a

Ok...what I need help with (if anyone can help that would be wonderful)...

If you visit my site you will see I have a left column and the center main text area. I have turned off or moved all of the boxes from the right to the left side. I want a 2column website. Just the left column area and then the main area. But, I can't see to figure out for the life of me where to edit for the main area to stretch out across where the right column would be.

Does anyone know a resource or where I can find info on how to convert this classic template from a 3 column to a 2 column?

I have looked high and low - so any help would be most appreciative...thank you!

admin -> configuration -> layout settings -> Column Right Status - Global (set to 0)

Please do yourself a favor and create your own custom template instead of modifying the files that came with Zen Cart. You can use them as a starting point, but if you change those files, you'll have a difficult time upgrading/updating.

Did you adjust admin>configuration>layout settings>Column Width - Right Boxes?

Default = 150px

perfect a mondo! exactly what I wanted. thank you - I figured it was something simple like that. I am used to oscommerce and having to recode just about everything or finding a template designed that way and going from there. so, it is nice to have some of these features already thought of and there ready to edit and design. very nice...

in regards to the 2nd suggestion - yes - I am with you. I guess I didn't word correctly above - I have a the original template and I am editing/adusting/creating from that and creating a new template in the process. I am just using the custom template as a foundation and creating from there. I hope I am wording that right. Creating a new template - using the old as base/foundation. So, yes good suggestion.
