Product Image Problems

Hi all...

I just installed the most recent copy of ZC and I just added my first my first product. I scanned the image and am trying to add it to the product description by clicking the browse button, selecting the image on my computer, and clicking the preview button, but when I do it's not picking up the image from my computer regardless of where I tell it to put the image on the server (all image directories are 777). In fact, it's not even giving me an error when I click the preview button...it just continually gives me a no product image graphic....

when you reopen/edit the product page does it list an image file or does it say NONE?

Yes...it still says none.

I thought maybe it was a glitch with an item that had already been added, so I added a test product and tried to add the picture at that time and still I'm not getting the picture from the computer to the server/product description.

unfortunatley as a novice at zencart
yet it sounds like you may have Display Product Image set to NO/False in an Admin function somewhere

You know I had considered that. I did go back through the admin to look at all of the product image items that I could think of, but I didn't see any of them turned off.

The weird (and a little inconvenient) thing is that I can manually upload the image to the server, and then when I am adding the product and tell it to pluck the picture from the server it doesn't have any problem displaying the image, but it just won't do it by taking it from my computer and uploading it to the server and I don't know why.
